Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of the 24/7 Electrician website and any electrical services we provide. By using this site or booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
Scope of Service
We provide residential and commercial electrical services across South Florida. The specific work to be performed is described in the written quote you accept. Any work outside that scope requires a separate change order at an additional price.
Estimates & Pricing
Estimates are based on the conditions reasonably visible during the site visit. If, once work begins, we discover hidden conditions (concealed damage, undocumented prior work, code violations that must be remedied to legally complete the job), we'll stop, explain what we found, and provide a revised price for your approval before continuing. Verbal estimates are not binding; the written quote is the controlling document.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, ACH, check, and cash. Returned or disputed payments may incur fees as allowed by Florida law. Larger projects may require a deposit; the amount will be stated on the quote.
Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for twelve (12) months from the date of completion. Materials are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, which we will help you register and claim. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, modification by others, acts of nature, power surges from outside our scope of work, or normal wear.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule a non-emergency appointment at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a trip fee equal to our standard service-call rate. Emergency dispatches are billable from the time of dispatch, regardless of cancellation timing.
Permits & Code
When a job requires a permit, we pull it and manage the inspection. Permit and inspection fees are itemized on the quote. If your local AHJ requires additional work beyond the original scope to pass inspection, we'll quote that work separately.
Liability
We carry general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Our total liability for any claim arising out of work performed is limited to the amount you paid for that work, except where Florida law requires otherwise. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as spoiled food during a planned power-off window) unless they result from our gross negligence.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide safe access to the work area
- Disclose known hazards (asbestos, lead paint, pest issues, prior unpermitted work)
- Move fragile items and pets away from the work area before we arrive
- Be reachable during the appointment in case decisions need to be made
Use of the Website
Content on this site is for general information. It is not a substitute for an on-site assessment by a licensed electrician. We do our best to keep information current and accurate but make no warranty as to its completeness. Do not perform electrical work yourself based on information found here.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
