Electrical Panel Repair & Upgrades
Your panel is the heart of your home's electrical system. When it's tired, overloaded, or outdated, every circuit pays the price. We diagnose, repair, and replace panels across South Florida — permitted and to code.
Signs Your Panel Needs Attention
- Frequent breaker trips, especially on circuits that used to be fine
- Warm panel cover, scorch marks, or rust inside the box
- A Federal Pacific Stab-Lok, Zinsco, or Pushmatic panel (all considered fire risks)
- Fuses instead of breakers, or a panel under 100 amps
- Double-tapped breakers, exposed wires, or missing knockouts
- Your home insurance flagged the panel during a renewal inspection
- You're planning an EV charger, central AC, hot tub, or major addition
What We Do
Panel repair. Replace failed or warm breakers, tighten lugs, repair bus damage, fix double-taps, add or label missing circuits, install whole-home surge protection, and bring the panel up to current NEC standards.
Panel upgrades. 100A to 200A or 400A service upgrades for additions, EV chargers, pool pumps, or just modern living. We coordinate with FPL for the service drop, pull permits, and walk inspections.
Panel replacement. Old Federal Pacific, Zinsco, or Pushmatic panels swapped out for Square D, Eaton, or Siemens. Most single-family replacements finish in one day, including the inspection.
Subpanels. Garage subpanels for EV charging, workshop circuits, ADU additions, or pool equipment.
How a Panel Replacement Goes
We site-visit, measure load, photograph the existing panel, and write a fixed-price quote — usually the same day. Once approved, we pull the permit, schedule with the utility for a power-down window (typically 4–8 hours), and execute the swap. Inspection follows within a day or two, and you stay informed at every step.
